SERVICES FAQS

While many plumbers charge an hourly rate of $75 to $200, we believe in upfront, flat-rate pricing so you are never surprised by the final bill. Minor repairs (like replacing a faucet cartridge or fixing a running toilet) typically range from $150 to $350, which includes the service call. Major work (like hydro jetting, camera inspections, or replacing a main shut-off valve) can range from $300 to $1,200+. Pricing always depends on the complexity of the job, pipe accessibility, and the required parts.

Yes. We provide comprehensive plumbing services for single-family homes, downtown condos, restaurants, retail shops, and office buildings across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Whether you are dealing with a backed-up sink in a historic home or need preventative drain maintenance for a busy commercial kitchen, we have the tools and expertise to handle it.

Snaking is great for punching a hole through an isolated clog (like hair or toilet paper) to get the water flowing again. Hydro jetting, on the other hand, is a much more comprehensive solution. It uses highly pressurized water to scour the inside of your pipes, blasting away years of grease, mineral buildup, and stubborn tree roots. It restores your pipes to a “like-new” condition, significantly reducing the chance of future backups.

A drain camera inspection takes the guesswork out of plumbing. Instead of digging up your yard or tearing down basement drywall to find a problem, we feed a high-definition camera down your sewer line. This lets us visually pinpoint the exact location of cracks, tree root intrusions, bellied pipes, or severe blockages. It saves you time, prevents unnecessary damage to your property, and ensures we fix the root cause of the issue.

Not all leaks leave a visible puddle. You might have a hidden leak if you notice an unexplained spike in your Toronto Water bill, the sound of running water when all fixtures are turned off, musty odors, or warm spots on your floor. If you suspect a leak, our advanced leak detection equipment can pinpoint it behind walls or under concrete without destructive searching.

If your faucet is dripping or hard to turn, replacing the internal cartridge is usually a quick and affordable fix. However, if the fixture is old, severely corroded, or replacement parts are no longer manufactured, installing a new one is more cost-effective. For toilets, if you find yourself constantly replacing flappers or if there is a hairline crack in the porcelain, it is time for a full replacement to prevent water damage and high utility bills.

Many older Toronto homes still have their original “gate” style shut-off valves. Over time, these seize up or fail to close completely. In a plumbing emergency—like a burst pipe—you need to be able to shut off your water immediately. We replace unreliable, old valves with modern, quarter-turn “ball valves.” They are highly durable, completely sealed, and allow you to shut off your water in seconds with zero effort.

It depends on the scope of the work. You do not need a permit for basic repairs and replacements, such as swapping out a toilet, fixing a leak, or changing a faucet. However, you do need a permit from the City of Toronto if we are installing new plumbing fixtures, moving drains, or altering the property’s main water supply. As licensed plumbers, we can guide you through the process and ensure all work is up to the Ontario Building Code.

Minor fixes, like swapping a faucet cartridge, fixing a leak, or replacing a toilet, usually take 1 to 2 hours. Medium jobs, like thorough drain snaking or installing a new shut-off valve, generally take 2 to 4 hours. Complex jobs, like hydro jetting, camera inspections, or dealing with the older, customized plumbing found in many Toronto homes, can take half to a full day. We will always give you a clear time estimate before we begin work.
